Marcia O'Kane Joins Fairfield County Bank

June 29, 2006 -- Marcia A. O’Kane of Greenwich has joined Fairfield County Bank as Vice President, Senior Commercial Lender. She is responsible for the development and management of commercial banking business in the Greater Fairfield County area.

Her previous employers include Brown Brothers Harriman Private Investment Bankers, Royal Bank of Canada Dominion Securities, Webster Financial Advisors and IDB Bank. Her banking career includes involvement in private banking, investment banking, investment management, alternative investments and corporate banking. Ms. O’Kane holds NASD Series 7 registration as well as Connecticut Life Insurance license and completed formal credit training at Chase Manhattan Bank. She received a cum laude undergraduate distinction from Niagara University and an MBA degree from Boston University.

Ms. O’Kane serves on the Board of Directors of Arthritis Foundation Northern and Southern New England Chapter. Her community involvement also includes Breast Cancer Alliance, World Affairs Forum, Connecticut Ballet, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Greenwich Department of Social Services, Town of Greenwich Continuing Education, Financial Women’s Association, Alzheimers Association and local Rotary and Chambers of Commerce.
