Celebrates Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at New Darien Branch

September 17, 2007 - Fairfield County Bank held its ribbon cutting
ceremony for the Bank’s newest branch at 714 Post Road in Darien on
September 14th. First Selectman Evonne Klein (third to
right) had the honor of cutting the ribbon. (l to r) Also present at
the event were Pete Johnson, Vice President and Commercial Lender,
Fairfield County Bank; State Representative John Ryan; Carol Wilder
Tamme, Executive Director of the Darien Chamber of Commerce; and
also representing Fairfield County Bank were: Paul McNamara,
Chairman of the Board; Richard Clemens, Executive Vice President and
Division Executive, Norwalk/Darien Division; Gary Smith, President
and CEO, and Richard Siegal, Assistant Vice President and Branch
Manager of the new Darien office.
The new spacious 714 Post Road office replaces the Bank’s office at
1899 Post Road. Located in the center of Darien, customers will
enjoy added conveniences including two drive-up lanes, a drive-up
ATM, free coin counting, enhanced safe deposit box services, a night
drop for after hours business deposits, and an inside play area for
children to play while parents conduct transactions.
In addition to traditional banking products and services, insurance
products are offered through Carnall Insurance Inc, a wholly owned
subsidiary of Fairfield County Bank and access to investment
services are available through Infinex Investments, Inc. Infinex and
the Bank are not affiliated. Rich Clemens, Division Executive for
the Darien area is excited to be able to showcase the expanded menu
of financial services that will benefit their customers through
convenience, and service excellence at the new Darien office.
