Assistant Branch Manager
Job Description
Provides support to the Branch Manager by managing branch
operations, and by working to promote an aggressive sales
environment.
Responsibilities

Assists in the
development of the branch business plan and goals
-
Responds to new
business opportunities
-
Assists in the
development of subordinate staff, including coaching, conducting
performance reviews and providing guidance, training and direction
to implement plans and objectives
-
Builds strong
customer relationships, applies advanced customer service skills,
and effectively cross-sells the bank’s portfolio of products
-
Manages the
branch in the absence of the Branch Manager, which includes
covering extended operating hours
-
Completes sales
tracking reports and monthly overdraft reports
-
Manages safe
deposit box function
-
Ensures that
proper procedures are in place to guarantee all new account
documentation is complete and accurate
-
Ensures accurate
and complete wire transfer policies and procedures are in place
Requirements
-
Associates Degree
preferred
-
3-5 years
experience in customer service and bank sales
-
Excellent
interpersonal skills and strong computer skills are required
