Job Description
Interviews customers and opens
accounts. Cross-sells bank products
and services.
Responsibilities
- Interviews,
sells, and opens bank accounts
- Handles
day-to-day teller transactions related to deposits and withdrawals
- Makes
telemarketing calls to expand business with existing clients
- Responds to
telephone requests and assists customers in resolving problems,
such as balancing checking accounts or understanding bank charges
- Maintains
backup paperwork and mail correspondence as required
- Balances cash
drawer, branch and/or vault
- Maintains
supplies, performs filing and checks orders as required
Requirements
· High
school diploma or equivalent with some banking experience required
· One
to two years experience serving the public, preferably as a bank
teller or closely related cash handling position
· Excellent
interpersonal skills, accuracy with numbers and attention to detail
